Remembering that a journey of a thousand miles

Everyone should remember that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
Bad habits come back it is working them to less and less frequency.  Knowing that things do get better once you see where the problem exists.

Knowing you took the right road

Nothing is as satisfying to me as knowing you have taken the right road.  My experiences in this most recent leg of my journey took many of the best parts of past journeys and rolled them together.  That was just a delight to begin with then to have someone repeat advice you had gotten because you are finally doing that advice lets me know I am finally on the right road.  It is too early yet to tell where this right road will lead.  I just hope it is a pleasant ride.

Moving along

This blog is meant to talk about the overall path.  I have spent much of the last 6 years trying to figure out my path in life.  In a way I want it to stream along like a big four lane highway.  Sometimes though the back roads with all the scenery is the better route.  Right now I feel as though I was on a back road detour and am now in a position to build forward motion again.  Hopefully my back road will take me to a larger avenue.

It is funny how I look at my mix tape style CD's for my journey to see how truly unhappy I was with my detour.  I have learned and there is a bright light at the end of a dark and gloomy road.
